2nd Annual Gaston County Recovery Walk
We Look Forward To Seeing you There!

Why We Walk For Recovery!
We walk to celebrate the strength of individuals in recovery and to remind our community that healing is possible. Together, we stand for hope, support families affected by addiction, and help break the stigma surrounding mental health and substance use.
Our First
In 2025, Gaston County held its first community Recovery Walk, bringing together individuals in recovery, families, treatment providers, and community supporters to raise awareness about substance use and mental health recovery.
Purpose-built
Local organizations provided recovery resources, education, and support services, helping connect individuals and families with treatment, peer support, and community programs.
Clean design
Participants walked to celebrate individuals living in recovery, honor loved ones lost to addiction, and support families affected by substance use.
Mobile-ready
The 2026 Gaston County Recovery Walk will build on the success of last year by expanding community participation, partnerships, and recovery education efforts.
Peace of mind
This year’s walk will continue to bring hope, reduce stigma, and strengthen the recovery community in
Built for community
The walk created a powerful space where people from across Gaston County came together to show that recovery is possible and that no one has to face addiction alone.
